WMSCCC05 - Christmas Greetings
Here is my card for the May 2011 WMS Christmas Card Challenge. The challenge was to use trees on your card, so I created this funky Christmas tree. I started with a base of Stamper's Select White cardstock (PTI) matted with Pure Poppy cardstock (PTI) that has been dry embossed using the Diamonds Impression Plate (PTI). The focal image was stamped on the same white cardstock. The tree and red decorations are from the WMS Teeny Trees set. The tree trunk is the capital "I" from WMS Victorian Alphabet and the tree stand is a flourish from WMS Very Vintage Label No.3. The star, heat embossed with gold embossing powder, is from WMS Bitty Banners. The greeting, also from Teeny Trees, is stamped on an oval diecut (Spellbinders Petite Ovals Small) and popped up with dimensional adhesive. I finished it off with some ribbon that I found at Michaels.
